Our Gas Connector Specs

Our Gas Connector Specs (USA and Abroad)

In God We Trust

Our Torches are made to USA standard in gas fittings, using a female CGA600 connector fitting (with a thread of 1-inch 20 UNEF) at the base of our torches, requiring a male, CGA600 connection from the fuel source:

This is the US standard gas connector for any disposable propane tanks around 1lb, such as fuel tanks sold by Coleman, Bernzomatic, or Harris.

Our hoses incorporate a CGA600 Female gas fitting (torch end) to POL (Prest-O-Lite) male gas fitting (20 lb tank connector).

CGA600 Female fitting (Left) to POL (Prest-O-Lite) Male fitting (Right)

Larger tanks within the USA have a POL Female fitting (CGA 510, 0.885" LH), which is paired to by our hoses with a POL Male fitting (see above).

(NOTE! POL connectors are left-hand threaded! This means they are opposite of the normal screwed fitting conventions. To tighten your connector, twist counter-clockwise. To loosen your hose, turn clockwise.)

In international use, common propane connectors often are not the same as those used in the USA. The following is a quick reference list of common connector types per country and what adapter is required to use your local fuel options.

NOTE: Our torches are designed to operate under 135psi of fuel pressure, or 9.3 BAR (9307mBAR). When finding fuel options, make sure that your tank of choice provides adequate fuel pressure for an optimum Grillblazer Experience!

While our products were designed to burn straight gaseous propane, butane/propane mixtures are also a useable fuel source. Do not use straight butane, alcohol, or white gas fuel options for Grillblazer Products.
